This release fixes the Control Center startup error from 0.8.0: four SolidColorBrush Color properties incorrectly referenced their own brush resources. They now start with literal Orange palette colors; theme switching still replaces the brush resources normally. Startup errors also save their complete inner exception to %LOCALAPPDATA%\LeGameOS\ControlCenter-Startup.log.
Extract LeCoreOS-11-0.8.1-Repair.zip completely, close games and Control Center, and run Repair.cmd from the same gaming administrator account. Accept the Windows administrator prompt. The repair checks the existing installation, backs up replaced program files, installs the fixed files, reapplies the original v0.7.0 registry baseline, and activates the single Max Performance plan. Reboot once afterward. It does not reinstall optional apps, change existing game INI files, disable security, change HAGS or overwrite GPU profiles.
For a fresh install or an AME upgrade, import LeCoreOS-11-0.8.1.apbx directly into AME Wizard. Do not import the repair or source ZIP. Keep all existing recovery journals.
The v0.7.0 source archive was compared directly with this release. All gaming/service profile values, registry exports, GPU controls and network controls are retained. Tests/Baseline-0.7.0.json records the original values and hashes of the relevant functions/modules. The repair reapplies those Windows registry values; selected service stages and existing GPU, game, HAGS and security choices are preserved. Settings saved by an app cannot reconstruct an unsaved game/driver state from a past session, so identical input-to-display latency is not a verified claim.
Only LeCoreOS 11 Max Performance remains listed after a successful Apply/install/repair. Its five gaming settings match v0.7.0 Max Performance exactly. Only the display-off and PC-sleep timeouts are added: 1 hour on AC and battery. Every other listed plan is exported and hashed before removal. Use Recovery → Restore original power plans to bring them back. Backups stay under %ProgramData%\LeGameOS\PowerPlanBackups.
PowerShell parsing, pure/mocked logic, original-source comparisons and archive/hash checks run in the build environment. Windows WPF/AME installation, hardware power support and actual FPS/input latency cannot be tested in this Linux environment. Tests/Test-Windows-Wpf.ps1 is included for a real Windows PowerShell 5.1 STA layout/theme smoke test. Test in the same Fortnite scenario after reboot and close optional launchers, overlays and downloads before comparing.
