# LeCoreOS 11 sources

Prior sources were checked 14 October 2026; current latency/game/GPU sources were checked 15 October 2026. These sources inform the implementation; they do not
certify LeCoreOS 11 or prove a performance improvement.

- [AME playbook structure and packaging](https://docs.amelabs.net/creating_playbooks.html): root XML, Configuration/main.yml, Executables, 7z archive, `.apbx`, conventional password `malte`.

Additional 0.2.0 primary sources and decisions are documented inline in
`Executables/Payload/LATENCY-RESEARCH.md` and its HTML version. They cover current
Valorant Raw Input Buffer behavior, modern DXGI presentation, MMCSS/timer
limitations, power comparisons, supported latency measurements and the exact
software-installation method. New scripts use Microsoft WinGet with exact
package IDs, user scope, normal integrity checks and no forced upgrade.

The existing wallpaper combines the user-supplied night basketball-court photo
with the selected LG basketball/controller shield. The composite was created
using the built-in image-generation tool, preserving the single hoop/court,
adding the shield above the hoop and using the exact LeCoreOS 11 wordmark.

Image-generation prompt: Use the night basketball/Milky Way photograph as the
new background. Use only the existing LG basketball/controller shield and
LeCoreOS 11 lettering from the second reference. Keep the single hoop, court,
night sky and warm horizon. Position the shield and wordmark above the backboard,
with generous desktop space. Retain metallic yellow/orange shield faces;
reduce logo bloom by another 55-65 percent for a subtle tight edge glow. Keep
light-grey/white LeCoreOS 11 lettering and replace its white glow with a soft
black/charcoal halo around each letter, without a rectangular banner. Refine
fine sky/court detail and use a professional cinematic treatment. One full-frame
16:9 wallpaper; no additional text, logos or watermark. Request a 3840 x 2160
finished wallpaper.

Resolution: the image tool returned 1672 x 941 pixels despite the requested
4K size. The final desktop export was therefore resampled with ImageMagick's
Lanczos filter to 3840 x 2160, retaining the aspect ratio and centering within
that canvas. This is a 4K-size export, not native 4K generated detail. No manual
redrawing or additional glow editing was performed during export. The PNG is
static and requires no resident wallpaper application.

The 0.3.1 service and process-count research is documented inline in
Executables/Payload/LEAN-PROFILE.md and LEAN-PROFILE.html. It distinguishes
IoT service guidance from desktop gaming validation, optional user templates,
trigger-start activity, service-host isolation, launcher startup, hardware
and dependency guards, and the sampled idle-count measurement. Exact target
names and protected dependencies are in Profile.json. No 50-70 process result
or permanent maximum was measured or certified.

0.3.1 permission handling is informed by the user-supplied 0.3.0 AME logs and
[Microsoft RegistryKey.SetValue documentation](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/microsoft.win32.registrykey.setvalue?view=netframework-4.8.1),
[RegistryKey.CreateSubKey](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/microsoft.win32.registrykey.createsubkey?view=netframework-4.8.1)
and the [Widgets policy mapping](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/client-management/mdm/policy-csp-newsandinterests).
The observed error is a denied registry write after the Game DVR policy.
Attribution to the next Widgets setting is inferred from Profile.json order;
the failed old log did not record that key directly. The corrected playbook
logs exact targets and skips only explicitly optional, access-denied settings.

The supplied 0.3.1 retry output identifies HKCU Explorer\Advanced [TaskbarDa]
directly after successful machine-policy, service and software stages.
0.3.2 extends exact-target permission handling to the eight explicit optional
account appearance preferences. It does not attribute the denial to Defender
or a specific ACL without evidence. The supported device Widgets policy
already applied in that retry; Microsoft's Widgets policy mapping states it
controls the experience including taskbar content. Private TaskbarDa behavior
on future Windows builds is not a supported compatibility guarantee.
Raw user logs are not bundled; FIX-0.3.2.txt summarizes the supplied evidence.

0.8.1 implementation and research are documented in Executables/Payload/COMPETITION.md. The user reports successful 0.3.2 installation, 143 to 120 idle processes, and no latency testing yet. The latest band is 60-70; no new count/FPS/latency result is certified. New references include Microsoft service-host/per-user documentation, exact Edge/Search policy mappings, ScheduledTasks backup/enable/disable cmdlets, Authenticode status and NVIDIA latency guidance. The Windows 10 hosting article is not treated as a Windows 11 benchmark. The optional compact profile changes individual eligible hosting flags and reduces isolation; it does not disable the services or prove performance.

The supplied Locker Room, Grand Library and Cosmic Court images replace the previous gallery. Image editing removed the Gemini marks where present and added the small matching Made by LeSamsky credit. ImageMagick Lanczos exports are 3840x2160; the exported pixels do not imply native captured 4K detail. The default is Locker Room. The app emblem was generated from the supplied LeCoreOS 11 shield reference and exported as a multi-size Windows icon.

## 0.8.1 desktop controls

See [CONTROL-CENTER.md](CONTROL-CENTER.md) for Microsoft registry/runtime/radio/URI documentation and Riot security requirements.

## 0.8.1 wallpaper rotation and desktop

Microsoft Run-key documentation states that HKCU Run executes at user logon
and Windows can delay startup programs. Rotation therefore applies at sign-in
after restart/shutdown-and-power-on, and also after full sign-out/sign-in,
rather than depending on shutdown event delivery or a continuously running
listener. The feature neither disables Fast Startup nor rewrites boot options.
[Run keys](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/setupapi/run-and-runonce-registry-keys).

Microsoft documents the standard desktop icon Settings UI and known user/shared
desktop folders. The Explorer HideDesktopIcons values used here are private
appearance preferences, treated as optional and backed up; they are not claimed
as a supported management contract. Version 0.8.1 preserves current shortcuts, recovers available legacy .lnk/.url
backups without replacing newer items, and shows Recycle Bin. Personal documents
and folders are retained.
[Desktop icons](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/experience/personalization/customize-the-desktop-icons-in-windows) ·
[Known folders](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/shell/knownfolderid).

The added attachments are Grand Prix Lounge, Carbon Apex and Neon Street Court.
Their credits and artwork were retained; 4K asset exports only resample to
3840x2160. The three prior wallpaper designs remain.

## 0.8.1 latency, game profiles and GPU driver interfaces — 15 October 2026

- [Epic 2026 competitive guide](https://store.epicgames.com/news/fortnite-on-pc-best-settings-for-competitive-play-in-2026?lang=en-US): current DX12 Performance, Low graphics and Reflex On + Boost. Far view distance is the user's preference rather than Epic's Near recommendation.
- [Epic renderer persistence](https://www.epicgames.com/help/c-34254770/a22616652): current supported Performance fallback arguments `-d3d12 -FeatureLevelEs31`.
- [Riot low graphics checklist](https://support.riotgames.com/en-us/valorant/support-tools/troubleshooting-game-crashes-in-valorant) and [dedicated multithreading guidance](https://support.riotgames.com/en-us/valorant/support-tools/multithreaded-rendering/): distinguish crash diagnostics from the On option suitable for a supported high-end CPU.
- [Riot 12.09](https://playvalorant.com/en-us/news/game-updates/valorant-patch-notes-12-09/): AMD Anti-Lag 2 support and hardware/driver requirements.
- [NVIDIA system latency guide](https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/guides/gfecnt/202010/system-latency-optimization-guide/): Reflex supersedes driver Ultra Low Latency; advanced hardware-specific scheduling tweaks can regress latency.
- [NVIDIA public NVAPI SDK](https://github.com/NVIDIA/nvapi) and [NVAPI introduction](https://developer.nvidia.com/nvapi/get-started): DRS application profiles, structure layouts, function IDs and four public DWORD setting constants.
- [AMD ADLX SDK](https://github.com/GPUOpen-LibrariesAndSDKs/ADLX) and [3D settings services](https://gpuopen.com/manuals/adlx/adlx-sdk-references/adlx-interfaces/3d-graphics/iadlx3dsettingsservices/): supported GPU-global controls and public interface layouts.
- [AMD Anti-Lag SetEnabled](https://gpuopen.com/manuals/adlx/adlx-_d_o_x__i_a_d_l_x3_d_anti_lag__set_enabled/) and [AMD driver feature guide](https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/faqs/DH3-033.html): mutually exclusive controls motivate backing up the whole supported flag group and final group verification on recovery. The old driver guide's Anti-Lag+ steps are not copied as a modern competitive recommendation.
- [AMD Anti-Lag1](https://gpuopen.com/manuals/adlx/adlx-sdk-references/adlx-interfaces/3d-graphics/iadlx3dantilag1/): regular versus advanced Anti-Lag level; LeCoreOS 11 does not request a Next/Plus level.
- [Microsoft MMCSS](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/procthread/multimedia-class-scheduler-service), [BCDEdit](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/devtest/bcdedit--set), [HAGS](https://devblogs.microsoft.com/directx/hardware-accelerated-gpu-scheduling/) and [windowed-game optimization](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/display-graphics/optimizations-for-windowed-games-in-windows-11): explain omitted unproven timer/MMCSS recipes and supported comparison paths.

Official SDK header revisions and SHA256s are pinned in `Tests/Vendor-ABI-Reference.json`. `Tests/Verify-Vendor-ABI.py` checks those original vendor declarations online without loading a driver. GpuNative.cs is a small self-authored binding; no NVIDIA/AMD binary, native SDK library, kernel driver, game binary or injection tool is shipped. Vendor SDK license information remains at the linked official repositories. Native Windows/vendor execution is still required before claiming runtime compatibility or performance.

The app saves recommendations; it does not configure a router.
- [Cloudflare test](https://speed.cloudflare.com/) and [Waveform test](https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat): explicit user-opened third-party measurements; results are not supplied by this build.
- [Official WinGet Chrome manifest](https://github.com/microsoft/winget-pkgs/blob/master/manifests/g/Google/Chrome/155.0.8059.40/Google.Chrome.installer.yaml) and [Edge manifest](https://github.com/microsoft/winget-pkgs/blob/master/manifests/m/Microsoft/Edge/155.0.4283.45/Microsoft.Edge.installer.yaml): checked x64 machine installer scope. Runtime installs use exact IDs and the current standard source, not a pinned obsolete browser version. Hash checks stay enabled. Existing installations are kept.

See NETWORK-GUIDE.md and LATENCY-RESEARCH.md for source-backed scope and engineering choices. Registry/configuration matching is not a benchmark or game runtime verification.
